Airports
Coastline is the largest private sector airport developer in the country having one airport already completed and operational and two more in the pipeline.

With the opening of Dharavandhoo Airport in Baa Atoll in 2012, Coastline has offered a level of convenience never before experienced by resort operators and residents of the atoll.

For the first time, resort operators has the ability to offer their guests, transfers from Male’ International Airport any time during the day or night, seamlessly connecting with international arrivals. For the residents of Baa Atoll, Dharavandhoo Airport has brought in a new era of development through a huge leap in accessibility for ordinary residents, businesses and for commerce and development.

The operation of Dharavandhoo Airport was handed over to Island Aviation under a Management Contract in October 2012.

The airport in Ifuru, Raa Atoll with a runway of 1200 meters is currently under construction and is expected to be complete during 2013. Next in line for development is an airport in Noonu Atoll.

The Coastline Group has been one of the first private sector businesses to enter into the challenging business of airport development and management in the Maldives.


Resorts
The Resorts and Hotels sector is one of the fastest growing lines of business in the Group.

With one resort already completed and opened, the Group plans to develop a chain of resorts with a total capacity of 1200 beds in the next four years.

Mudhdhoo Island Resort, a property owned and developed by Coastline Hotels and Resorts was sold to Dusit Thani in July 2011 with Coastline Investments Pvt. Ltd. holding a minority interest in the resort.

The resort was opened in September 2012 as Dusit Thani Mudhdhoo, a six-star resort with 100 keys and the newest addition to an elite list of resorts located in the pristine Baa Atoll.

Other hotels in line include a high-end luxury resort on the island of Finolhas, planned to be completed in mid 2014 and Kanifushi, a midrange resort, which is also expected to be completed at the same time.

Two more resorts are also slated for development in Raa Atoll.
